Vishal Chintawar came to the U.S. from India in the early 2000s to study Systems Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, and then spent 15 years working in the nonprofit sector. Overcoming these barriers often requires resilience, determination and the ability to prove oneself repeatedly,” Chintawar says.
